Areas of Expertise

An old, weathered house with green shutters sits in a lush green field, with mountains in the background under a cloudy sky.

In my work as a therapist and a doula, I believe in the healing power of relationship. At the core of that is a good fit between you and me.

Below are some of my areas of expertise. I am committed to continuing education and supported by a supervisor with more experience in this field. If you do not see yourself in this list, feel free to still reach out for a free 15 minute consultation and we can explore if we are a good fit or if I can offer you referrals to someone else.

With a background as a full-spectrum doula with advanced training in perinatal mental health, I am especially suited to support those in a perinatal period.

Many people find their way to me in the midst of a life transition - whether something is happening in you or to you.

Life Transitions

Anxiety can manifest physically, emotionally and mentally. It is an exhausting state to be in, but you do not have to be stuck there.

I’ve received extensive training in the ways our families and childhood experiences impact the way we show up in the world as adults, for better or for worse.

Trauma

My core psychotherapy training was rooted in trauma-informed care. I lead clients through their stories of trauma gently and with consent. I am not in the business of re-traumatizing people.

Relationships are complex. They are where we often seek comfort, but also where we can be hurt.

Relationship Issues

Depression can feel so debilitating. Finding your way back to yourself and a more functional way of being is possible.

Self Esteem & Body Image

Our inner critic can be one of the loudest voices in our head. The shift to self-compassion is a powerful skill to learn.
